Milton D. Cozad of 451 Hartwick Road, Findley Township (Mercer), passed away at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday, (12-19-12), in Grove Manor, Grove City, after a brief illness. He was 77.
Mr. Cozad was born March 19, 1935, in Mercer to M. Clair Cozad and Dora A. Clay Cozad.
He was employed for 45 years as a punch operator at Reznor -- a unit of Thomas & Betts, Mercer.
Mr. Cozad attended Wayside Community Church, Findley Township, and was a member of the National Rifle Association.
His wife, the former Ora Soladay, whom he married April 26, 1996, survives at the residence.
Also surviving are: two daughters, Kim Cozad-Dembec, Mercer; and Lynne Cozad-Hoar, Hamilton, Canada; two sons, Allen Cozad and his wife Joan, and Gary Cozad and his wife Barb, all Mercer; and a sister, Elizabeth, wife of Theodore Shillito, also Mercer; 10 grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Brenda Lee Przybylski.
Calling hours were Friday (12-21-12) in Cunningham Funeral Home Inc., Mercer.
Funeral service was Saturday (12-22-12) in the funeral home with the Rev. Lester Rowan, pastor of Wayside Community Church, Findley Township, officiating.
Interment in Findley Township Cemetery.
