GREENVILLE — A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, for Donna M. Pomponio of 80 Fredonia Road, Hempfield Township, formerly of 457 E. Crestview Drive Ext., Pymatuning Township. Mrs. Pomponio passed away at 5:46 p.m. Wednesday (11-28-12) in UPMC Horizon, Greenville. She was 83.

Born March 8, 1929 in Mercer, she was a daughter of Harry K. Adams and Harriett Isabel (Jewell) Adams.

She was a graduate of the former Sandy Lake High School.

Mrs. Pomponio was a cafeteria worker for more than 25 years at Reynolds School District.

She was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Greenville.

She enjoyed reading, gardening and taking care of her home.

On Nov. 16, 1949, she married Joseph Pomponio. He survives at Maple Leaf Manor.

Also surviving are her daughter, Kathleen Pomponio Urmson and her husband John, Cuba, N.Y.; two sons, Bruce W. Pomponio and his wife Diane, Byron, Ill.; and Mark J. Pomponio, Sunzona, Ariz.; one brother, Russell Adams and his wife Renee, Greenville; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Dorothy Bishop and Norma Adams.

A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, in St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville.

Burial of cremains will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Greenville.

Arrangements by Loutzenhiser--Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Greenville.
