Naomi Louise Hodgson Allen, formerly of Spring Street, Grove City, died at 5:55 a.m. Saturday (2-9-13) in Orchard Manor, Pine Township, after a brief illness. She was 92.
She was a graduate of Grove City High School, class of 1936; and a member of OES Chapter 86, Grove City, and the White Shrine.
She loved her dog, Leroy.
She was born July 9, 1920 to Edward R. and Clara Hassell Moon.
She was a homemaker and formerly was the church secretary at East Main Presbyterian Church, Grove City; and was formerly employed at Flowers Hardware, Russell Roll Jewelers and Osborne Insurance, all Grove City.
She retired from Allied News, where she took care of the classified ads.
She married her first husband, Thomas N. Hodgson on Oct. 21, 1939. He died on Jan. 22, 1978. She married Charles W. Allen on Feb. 25, 1984. He passed away on Sept. 6, 1985.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara J. Husband and her husband, James E., Grove City; three grandchildren, Jeremy L. Husband, Joshua D. Husband and his wife Beth, and Jennifer J. Bandi and her husband Justin, all Grove City; and five great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Blair Husband and Joella, Jaxon and Julien Bandi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and a brother, Kenneth Moon.
Calling hours were Monday (2-11-13) and Tuesday (2-12-13) in Cunningham Funmeral Home Inc., Grove City.
Funeral service was Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Edwin Dixon of Grove City Alliance Church officiating.
Burial in Crestview Memorial Park Inc., Pine Township.
