FARRELL —
Kimberly Smith of Division Street, Sharon, passed away Wednesday morning, Jan. 23, 2013, in UPMC Horizon, Farrell. She was 48.
Miss Smith was born July 8, 1964, in New Castle, a daughter of Robert Cohen and Marion Smith.
She received a bachelor of science degree in social work in 2011 from Slippery Rock University. She had also earned an associate's degree in human development from Penn State University in 2007.
Kimberly was a wraparound counselor for Sharon Regional Health System and a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, New Castle.
She was a loving mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was the time spent with her family.
She is survived by: three children, Christopher Smith, Farrell; and Darwin Green and Natosha Shepherd, both Sharon; a brother, Calvin Smith, and sisters, Marcella Smith and Tammy Smith, all New Castle; and Juerena Smith, Pittsburgh; and a grandchild, Chardazia Green.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Norman Smith; and a sister, Desiree Austin.

Funeral service was Tuesday in the church with the Rev. Robert Mills officiating.
Interment in Parkside Cemetery, New Castle.
