WEST DES MOINES, Iowa —
Margaret "Peggy" H. Buchanan of Iowa died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, in Methodist West Hospital in West Des Moines, Iowa. She was 93.
Mrs. Buchanan was a daughter of Creig and Matilda Hoyt of Grove City.
Peggy was raised in Grove City and lived most of her adult life in Pittsburgh before moving to Iowa in 1996.
Peggy is survived by her children, Beth and Bill Koenig, West Des Moines; Bob and Ruby Buchanan, Crowley, La.; and Bill and Suzanne Buchanan, Rocky Mount, N.C.; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Buchanan, two grandchildren and a brother.
Calling hours were Monday (12-10-12) in Cunningham Funeral Home Inc., Grove City.
Funeral service was Monday in the funeral home, with the Rev. David A. Lingle officiating.
Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Grove City.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 840 Southwestern Run Road, Youngstown, OH 44514; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
