SHARON —
Karen E. Stinedurf, Sharon, passed away at 6:15 p.m. Saturday (2-9-13) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 64.
Mrs. Stinedurf was born July 6, 1948, in Sharon to Elmer E. and Viola Thompson Nill.
She attended Mercer High School.
Karen worked as a nurse's aide for the former Woodland Place, Coolspring Township.
She was a former member of Shenango Valley Church of God, Hermitage.
Karen was an avid reader, but most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family.
Her husband, Robert Stinedurf, whom she married May 25, 1978, survives at home.
She also leaves: a daughter, Tammy M. Ebarb, Hemphill, Texas; three sons, Tod Q. Stinedurf, Dallas; and James H.E. Stinedurf and Timothy M.R. Stinedurf, both Sharon; two sisters, Maxine F. Meadows, Sharon; and Beverly A. Keck and her husband Gary, Mercer; three brothers, Harry Charles Hagan, Williamsburg, Va.; Leroy "Butch" Hagan III, Warren, Ohio; and Robert E. Hagan, Florida; eight granddaughters, a grandson and four great-grandchildren.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents; her adoptive parents, Leroy C. and Nancy O. Hagan; and her brothers, William L. Hagan and an infant, Chester Allan Hagan.
Calling hours are 4 p.m. to time of service Wednesday (2-13-13) in John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 2630 E. State St., Hermitage. Friends may sign a guestbook at www.flynnfuneralhome.com
Funeral service at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. C. Charles Eckles, pastor of I.H.S. Gospel Ministries, Hermitage, officiating.
Cremation will follow the service.
