COOLSPRING —
Emma E. Parker of Mercer, formerly of Jefferson Township, passed away at 1:52 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, in Avalon Springs, Coolspring Township. She was 91.
Mrs. Parker was born Aug. 6, 1921, in what was then Hickory Township, a daughter of William and Clara Shingledecker Livermore.
She was a 1940 graduate of West Middlesex High School.
Mrs. Parker was a homemaker and attended Clark Trinity United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed quilting, gardening, playing the organ and being outdoors. Emma was a wonderful cook.
Her husband, Joseph McCleod Parker, whom she married July 2, 1942, passed away March 12, 1999.
She is survived by: two daughters, Connie L. Trump and her husband Ernest, Mercer; and Bonnie L. Lorigan and her husband Harry, Transfer; a son, Gary A. Parker and his wife Jennifer, Mercer; two sisters, Doris Ross, Masury; and Kathryn Livermore, Temple City, Calif.; nine grandchildren, Kimberly McBriar, Ernest Trump Jr., Dale Trump, Elizabeth Diefenderfer, Pam McKenna, Tammy Phillips, Jenny Parker, Melissa Bestwick and Megan Parker; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lois Ciscell and Marjorie Livermore; two brothers, Robert and Merle Livermore; and a half brother, Charles McCallen.

Funeral service at 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. William Locke, pastor of Clark Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
