Mary Jane Schutta

Former GC woman was president of company

NORTH CAROLINA — Mary Jane Schutta, Kure Beach, N.C., formerly of Grove City, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 in Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Center, N.C. She was 65.

Mrs. Schutta was born April 7, 1947 to LeRoy and Agnes Glasgow Davis.

She was a graduate of Grove City High School.

Mrs. Schutta was the president of her late husband's consulting business.

She was an avid gardener. She entertained for friends and neighbors through her love and expertise of cooking.

Her husband, James Schutta, preceded her in death.

Surviving are: a brother, LeRoy Davis Jr., husband of Betsy, Rockford, Mich.; two nieces, Mieke Davis, Grove City; and Saskia Kohick, Wellsboro, Pa.; a stepson, Michael, husband of Laura; a stepdaughter, Jamie Schmitt, wife of Bill; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Barbara Ann Davis.

Memorial service was held Saturday (11-10-13) in Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel in North Carolina. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.andrewsmortuary.com
