BUTLER —
Ruth M. Errera of 187 Centertown Road, Harrisville, who died at 4:25 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2012, surrounded by her loving family and the caring staff at Butler Visiting Nurses Association Inpatient Hospice Unit. She was 88.
A daughter of Ralph and Edith Neely Weiss, Mrs. Errera was born April 29, 1924, in Boyers.
She was valedictorian of her class at the former Harrisville High School.
Mrs. Errera retired from the Office of Personnel Management.
She was a member of Forestville United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and animals.
On June 23, 1949, she married Darland Paul Errera; he died Aug. 18, 2011.
Surviving are a daughter, Gaye L. Mack and her husband Terry, Harrisville; a son, D. Paul Errera Jr. and his wife Ginger, Pulaski; her grandchildren, Jill Errera, Stephanie Clem, Jason Rudzik and T.J. Mack; and five great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister, Lois Daubenspeck, Boyers.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Nicholas Daubenspeck and Josh Rudzik; a brother, Edward Weiss; and a sister, Katherine Zabroski.

Funeral services were Wednesday (7-25-12) in the funeral home with the Rev. Barbara J. Moore, pastor of Forestville United Methodist Church, officiating.
