SHARON —
Marguerite F. Foltz Cameron, of 500 Clarksville Road, Hermitage, passed away at 3 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after a brief illness. She was 90.
Ms. Cameron was born May 26, 1922, in Sharon to Calvin and Nina Urey Foltz.
She was a 1942 graduate of Mercer High School.
As a licensed nurse practitioner, Ms. Cameron worked at many local nursing homes.
She attended Mercer United Methodist Church.
Marguerite loved to dance, sing and play the organ.
Surviving are: seven children, Melvine and her husband Richard Klech, Poland, Ohio; William Cameron and his wife Karla, Greenville; Thomas Cameron, Sharon; Linda Cameron and her fiancé Robert Bayer, New Wilmington; Robert Cameron, Mercer; Patricia and her husband Wade Henry, Sharon; and Daniel Cameron and his wife A.J., Mercer; two sisters, Martha and her husband Wallace Sterns, Jackson Center; and Sara Zimmerman, Mercer; and 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Wanda Cameron; a sister, Katherine Paden; and a brother, David Foltz.
Calling hours were Thursday (12-13-12) in Cunningham Funeral Home Inc., Mercer.
Funeral service was Thursday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. William P. Crooks, pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Mercer, officiating.
Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Jackson Township.
