SLIPPERY ROCK —
Sylvia Alice Williams, Slippery Rock Township, passed away at her residence at 5:50 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012. She was 73.
Mrs. Williams was born Aug. 11, 1939 in Mercer Township to Robert Ayers 'Gummy' and Alice Irene Snyder Gilmore.
She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm.
Mrs. Williams was a member of the Harrisville Branch Church.
She married William Clinton West, who preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 1973. She then married William Charles Williams, who died Oct. 10, 2005.
Surviving are three daughters: Robin E. Smith, Durham, N.C.; Gwen E. West, Slippery Rock; and Amanda J. Hartshorn, wife of Thomas, West Middlesex; a son, W. Bryan West, companion to Cindy Kendall, Slippery Rock; a sister, Mary Jane Fryman, wife of Richard, Slippery Rock; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Besides her husbands, she is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Shirley Harrison; and an infant son, Matthew.
Private services will held by the family.
Interment in Slippery Rock Cemetery.
