CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP —
Martha Louise Shanosky, Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, died at about 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Cranberry Place, Cranberry Township. She was 93.
She was born Sept. 18, 1919 in Marshall, Okla. to Louis Jefferson and Emma Ahrnsbrak Dishman.
Mrs. Shanosky graduated from Marshall High School in Oklahoma. She attended business school.
She was a credit union manager.
Mrs. Shanosky attended St. Peter's Church in Slippery Rock. She enjoyed sewing, and gardening.
She married Joseph Frank Shanosky on June 2, 1956. He died Nov. 7, 2003.
Surviving are: two daughters, Carol L. Lewicke, Portersville; and Susan K. Fortunato, wife of Mark, Pittsburgh; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Elizabeth and Mark Joseph Fortunato and Mark Lewicke; two great-grandchildren, Katlyn Lewicke and Easton Grover.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren, Marcia Lewicke and Janet Lewicke; two brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services were private.
Interment in Sky-View Memorial Park, Inc., Tamaqua, Pa.
