Elva M. Pavlick

Longtime foster mother has family in Stoneboro

GROVE CITY — Elva M. Pavlick, South Pymatuning Township, passed away peacefully of natural causes at 4:50 a.m. on Saturday (9-1-12) in Trinity Living Center, Grove City. She was 84.

She was born July 28, 1927 in Hadley, the daughter of Charles W. and Mary E. Stewart Foltz.

She attended Hadley schools.

A homemaker, she belonged to South Pymatuning Community Church.

Elva was a member of the auxiliary unit of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6404, Sharpsville.

Her husband, William Pavlick, whom she married on Oct. 25, 1954, passed away on Dec. 20, 1991.

Elva will be remembered for the love she gave to so many foster children through the years. Her love was unconditional and never ending, she will be sadly missed.

She leaves several nieces and nephews, including Jean Paup, Stoneboro.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Arlington Foltz, and an infant sister Ruth Ida Foltz, a foster sister Ruth Ann Williamson, and a sister-in-law Catherine Foltz.

Calling hours were Tuesday (9-4-12) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., Sharon.

Funeral services was Tuesday (9-4-12) in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. David Searle, senior pastor of South Pymatuning Community Church, officiating.

Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
