NEW WILMINGTON —
The Fracking Truth Alliance of Lawrence and Mercer Counties is hosting a water quality monitoring session Saturday morning, Aug. 4, for anyone interested in learning more about water testing.
Meet at 9 a.m. at the Westminster College Field Station, 937 Fayette-New Wilmington Road, New Wilmington.
The group will then head to the nearby Little Neshannock Creek to collect samples to send to Dickinson College for baseline results. The Alliance for Aquatic Resource Monitoring, ALLARM, is based at Dickinson.
Testing units will be available for volunteers who want to continue to help collect water samples.
Wear clothing and shoes appropriate for walking in the creek.
