Salvation Army Red Kettle funds sought

Volunteers also needed

HARRISVILLE — The Salvation Army Red Kettle is at the FNB Bank in Harrisville on Fridays and Saturdays.

Volunteers collect money for the Salvation Army to help the less fortunate in Harrisville and the surrounding area to pay for heat, electric, etc.

Please open your wallet and your heart this holiday season by giving what you can. Also, if you can give an hour or two to help volunteer, to help collect money or if have any questions, call Linda McDowell at 724-735-1134 or Bob "Candy Man" Barnes at the bank or call 724-735-2205. Your help is greatly appreciated.



■ If you have to buy many toys for kids for donations or have to watch your budget then make sure you get them at the Dollar General; if you buy $75 worth of toys then you get 10 percent off. 



■ There is no news on Saga, the family American bulldog who went missing in September. The Trezona family is still getting phone calls of sightings in different areas, but sadly, none is Saga. ■ Meals on Wheels in the Grove City area is looking for lunch packers and drivers. If you are willing to help even one day a month, please call 724-458-5371 from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday. They deliver meals to various people in the area.

■ Harrisville Volunteer Fire Department is looking for members. Junior members are 16 to 18 years of age and anyone over 18 is considered an adult member. If you are interested, please call the fire hall at 724-735-4646 and leave a message. Your help is needed and will be appreciated.
